Learn about the origins of Patchell Group and what we do today

1972

Patchell Industries Ltd was established in 1972 as a small general engineering workshop. Initially, the company’s primary focus was manufacturing attachments such as bulldozer blades, rippers and bush canopies for bulldozers, as well as providing structural repairs to heavy equipment.

2000's

Patchell Industries entered into their own design and manufacturing of on-and-off-highway logging trailers/truck equipment. They also produced forest tracked log loaders and attachments for heavy earthmoving equipment.

Today

Patchell Group has grown to the size where it employs over 200 staff, with its head office located in Rotorua and manufacturing facilities occupying 9 nearby sites.
